University Accommodation Photography – Helping the University of Birmingham

We were very excited to be asked to help Birmingham University to photograph and market their accommodation to current and prospective students online. Thomas Leach gave us some very kind words indeed below and you can view the rooms here

We would love to help more Universities. (Student digs were never like this in my day!)

“Prospective students need to be attracted to as many elements of the University as possible. Having excellent accommodation is a major university selection factor. We look to provide smart and modern facilities to help ensure our students experience with us is fantastic.

Given the significant investment we make in our student accommodation this has to be reflected on the university website. To do this we brought in ACT Studios Photography to help bring the accommodation to life for online viewers. ACT are a small professional team who specialise in helping show off accommodation for the hospitality industry.

University Accommodation Photography can present challenges. ACT coordinated and scheduled our shoot around our availability. Their photographer worked with us to ensure each of the rooms selected was set up carefully before being professionally photographed and walk-through tours captured. This whole process took just 2 days to shoot 17 room types across the campus. All the imaging was then carefully edited and arranged for our web team to easily drop into our website. Each room is now displayed with a highly attractive image they can directly step into to access a modern digital walk-thought tour via the website or mobile experience.

The service was highly professional, delivered to timescales and quite simply made very easy for us. In addition the package was remarkably cost efficient. We would certainly recommend the ACT team.”
