When ACT Studios was asked to photograph Caroline Barker’s B&B at Cundall Lodge Farm  in North Yorkshire, we jumped at the chance.

Because as a regional director for Farm Stay UK, Caroline knows a thing or two about the importance of good photography when it comes to marketing bed and breakfast accommodation.

Farm Stay UK is a national membership organisation, representing over 700 advertised accommodation businesses.

It aims to promote the concept of farm tourism in the UK, helping its members expand their businesses through pro-active marketing and assisting farmers in broadening their income base through diversification.

As well as regional director for Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cheshire, Caroline has been running her own business for more than 20 years.

ACT Studios photographed both the interior and exterior of this 5 star award winning bed and breakfast in Cundall, near York. Alongside still photography, we also produced 3D virtual tours of all the key areas.

ACT Studios focused not just on the accommodation but also the breakfast, since it remains such an integral part of the B&B experience. It’s not for nothing that Cundall Lodge Farm has previously won a Visit England Breakfast Award!

Our photographers also took atmospheric exterior shots at dusk, alongside numerous interior pictures of the three ensuite guest bedrooms, the residents’ lounge and the guest dining room.

We even captured some of the local produce, available to guests.

Caroline said “We have been running Cundall Lodge Farm for over 20 years. And we were delighted with the photography and virtual tours delivered by ACT Studios, which we felt really conveyed the luxury and personal touch of our bed and breakfast accommodation.”
