We have been in the holiday accommodation business for nearly 18 years now and are probably on our fourth website. I have really enjoyed working with the Team at Act and of huge importance is the fact that they understand the holiday accommodation business, as they are owners themselves. This makes them extremely aware of the ‘visitor journey’, meaning that from the offset they better understand how an accommodation website needs to work. We feel that our website is now extremely user friendly.

As well as listening to the owner’s objectives regarding a redesign, they are also full of sensible and beneficial prompts. They couldn’t have been more accommodating when it came to tweaks towards the end. Their staff are clearly very experienced and cooperate very well as a Team, knowing which skill set to employ within their business. We all know and understand the importance of photos in this very visual world, but they advise before arrival and during the photo shoot, so that your properties are really shown off to their maximum potential.

The 3D tours are extremely clever and way outstrip our original video tours. Thank you ACT, we have really enjoyed working with you!

A big thank you to ACT Studios! We asked them to do the impossible. We gave them the job of designing a site to explain – without boring the pants off everyone– how our multiple cottages with multiple combinations of rooms can work for any number of guests from 2 to 22 for any number of nights from 2 to 28 starting on any day of the week! They’ll never do it we thought as over the last 20 years many web designers have said yes, no problem, gone away , scratched their heads, shuffled back and admitted defeat. ACT is made of stronger stuff than that! They looked. They listened. They photographed – a lot. They questioned. They tried things out. They went back to the drawing board. They emailed – a lot . They chatted. Then, ta-daa!

A new and shiny website had been created! Thank you ACT for advice, encouragement and understanding of all the background issues at the time. Thank you Marcin for those photos – those night shots were fantastic!

The Burlton Cottages website is clean, inviting and easy to navigate. Information on things to see and do in the local area and detailed information about the location of the cottages was easy to find. The website features inviting images of the cottages and local area alongside testimonials, reviews and recommendations from previous guests. Finally, the ability to check availability and make secure reservations in your own home ensured that the visitor experience started way before guests arrived for their stay.

In an effort to generate more bookings, we turned to the ACT team to help us professionally and expertly market our property independently. Their team did everything from the very best professional photography, web design, booking set-up and more to deliver a modern and custom-built website that reflects the location and features of Trewidden House and Garden in beautiful detail. ACT also support our marketing activities and provide excellent ongoing technical back up for our website. We no longer pay any agency commissions and have total freedom to generate the exposure that our property deserves with the help from ACT.

Honestly – I have been blown away. I am truly astonished at what an incredible job ACT did. The photographer was brilliant. The whole process was seamless. I can’t understand how you WOULDN’T do it if you knew it was an option. Photography is so critical in marketing a property, and increasingly so. The 3D tours are an incredible add on, helping to manage guests’ expectations. As CEO of the ASSC, and with the association underpinned by quality, I want ALL our members to have the ACT treatment! I just need some time to completely refresh all our website listings etc. But that’s something to look forward to. In the meantime, please use my words – they came from the heart!

Our photoshoots with ACT in the last 5 months have been very enjoyable. A collaborative approach and the high standard ACT have offered us with a friendly customer service has been excellent. Marcin our photographer, was organised, friendly and understood our requirements. We made sure that everything was ready for him before he arrived so that we had a smooth day. The cottages were styled, food was prepped and we had checked the long term weather forecast. The 3D tours that we have made for each of our cottages have been a real selling point for us as well as the new photos for our brand new website. The photos are aspirational and beautifully styled. They convey the message of our brand as a rural business with all the modern luxuries one would expect for families, large groups, accessible guests and pets. The photos we have are perfect for our social media platforms where we interact daily with the public about our cottages and the lifestyle guests can enjoy whilst staying with us. The Act Studios photography and walk-though tour package was our best marketing spend ever. Since carefully incorporating it all onto our website we have seen a 15-20% uplift in bookings resulting in our best ever financial year. It has made our small one bed cottage look great and is highly practical for our larger properties. ACT Studios are passionate and talented guys and they really care.

The photos are worth a 1000 words. In fact it seems that folk book on the basis of these and not the descriptions. Some of our guests have booked on the strength of our new 3D video tours.
