What does the service include?

If your current website is suitable, we will take over the hosting from your current providers. But with ACT Studios it’s not just the hosting that we take care of. We also maintain your website to ensure that everything is up-to-date and performing correctly and provide support 7 days a week when needed. That includes doing weekly checks of your website’s performance and appearance and updating plugins as required etc.

So for a similar price that you’re paying today (£40+ VAT per month), you’d be supported by a team of experts who really get this market. You’ll get the peace of mind that everything is set up well and is being looked after properly.

We’ll check that you’re set up on Google Analytics and Google Search Console too, then monitor your website’s performance.

Additionally, we will analyse your current:

Meta titles
Meta descriptions
Keywords
Image alt text

Should we see that these haven’t been set or could be improved, we will let you know. If you’d like us to do that for you, we can (nb. there will be an additional hourly rate charged for this).

So the aim is to work with what you’ve got to help it perform better. Note, this is not a new or re-designed website. Although over time you might decide that the time is right to do just that.

We gave them the job of designing a website to explain - without boring the pants off everyone - how our multiple cottages with multiple combinations of rooms can work for any number of guests from 2 to 28, starting on any day of the week!
