That’s conference season over for another year. It’s a busy few weeks for our small team travelling around the UK, but it’s always worth it. We get the chance to catch up with existing clients, industry experts, meet new owners and have lots of chats. This year we were at the Premier Cottages conference, the Farm Business Innovation Show and the Farm Stay Conference too. Some questions came up on a few occasions, so we thought it would be useful to share them here with you.
1. “I’m in a remote part of the UK, miles from anywhere. Would your photographers be able to shoot my holiday cottage?”
Yes we can! Our skilled photography team covers the whole of the UK. Sometimes we’ll try to group a few shoots together with other local holiday cottage owners – especially if you have one small property. So if you want to team up with a pal, just let us know But if you have a collection of cabins or cottages that you would like us to capture, we can book in a 2-4 day shoot on the dates that work for you. The number of images you’ll get depends on how much time the photographer has with you. We can deliver a full photo shoot (including interiors, exteriors, 3D virtual tours and a dusk shoot) plus some of the grounds and the surrounding area. Or if it fits better with your budget, we can simply capture a few key images of each property. We charge a daily rate for photography and for the subsequent day of editing – so can work with you to find the best solution. This little video gives you an idea of what’s included:
2. “I have a template website that came free with the Property Management Software I use, but it’s so limited. Can ACT Studios build me a new website that still uses my availability calendar and booking pages?”
Yes we can! Using a free template website that comes with some property management software isn’t your only option. We can design and build you a beautiful website, using WordPress, with your availability calendar and booking pages embedded. So you can have the website that you want, matched to your own design requests. We offer a range of different website services to suit all budgets. But even our entry, streamline option has room for growth. So if you want to use that as a starting point but add more pages or change elements of the layout, our professional designers can do that for you.
Or if you would like us to create a totally bespoke website just for you, we can. Similarly with the content, copywriting and images. If you prefer you can provide us with all of that and we will build your new website around it.
